Public Works Mechanic Primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Public Works and Town vehicles and acts as Equipment Operator as needed. HS Diploma required. Min of 5 yrs exp as a qualified mechanic working in recognized repair facility. Min of 5 yrs work exp operating heavy equipment. Min 2 yrs work exp with construction. Must possess a valid CDL Class A, Air Brake Endorsement, State of CT Certified Brake Installation, exp in computerized vehicle diagnostic testing. Full-time, 40 hours/week at $33/hour.
