POSITION OBJECTIVE -

Supports engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques; preparing reports and calculations.

Duties:
 

1.  Product Development - helps support all areas of product development from concept design, testing, agency approvals, materials needed and charts the actual progress up and through production on approved programs.

 

2.  Manufacturing - helps support all areas of the manufacturing process from electrical or mechanical product design to the actual product assembly and layout.

 

3.  MRP - must be knowledgeable of all facets of our MRP system from procurement, to receiving and inventory controls.  Is responsible to maintain all product bill of materials so they are current in our MRP system.

 

4.  Safety & Sanitary Requirements - helps in all areas of the product approval process with UL and other regulatory agencies.  Overseas the needed record keeping necessary to keep us compliant.  Also stays attuned to regulatory changes as they develop.

 

5.  General - gives overall support as need in all areas of our manufacturing operations.
