SKF Specialty Balls A leader in the Aerospace Bearing Industry is currently taking applications for a Gage Room Operator Shift: 2nd or 3rd Position responsibilities incl: Comply with all work instructions, procedures, specifications & directives. Perform lot qualifications, product analyses & audits, as instructed. Clean ball samples to provide measurement integrity. Qualify as a Sample Visual Inspector, per Q3001C001. Operateprecision measurement equipment to determine ball size, geometry, waviness & surface roughness Record test results clearly & completely on quality records. Maintain clean room lab environment to specifications, including appropriate apparel. Maintain all lab and measurement supplies. Maintain and calibrate all lab equipment, including scheduled PM. Calibrate measurement & test equipment throughout the shop. Cross train to become fully qualified at other inspection/support positions. Cover for vacations as needed.
