SKF Specialty Ball s A leader in the Bearing Industry has the following position open: Ceramics Operator 2nd Shift Job Description Assist with inventory tracking. Troubleshoot equip, process or ball quality problems. Perform assigned repairs and Preventative Maintenance. Assure applicable inspection equipment is in calibration before use. Assist Operators and provide training. Perform Operator duties when requested. Process product to specifications, including cleaning & weight / count, and to schedules provided. Load /unload & operate lap mach. & perform adjustments. Maintain oil levels, cut rates, pressures and feeds & speeds. Pump tanks and change lap slurries. Perform in-process inspections, including ball checks and other dimensional measurements. Report processing information clearly and accurately on routers and process log sheets. Plot results on control charts when required. Maintain items in Tooling Control Program. Maintain cleaning media and equipment. Identify, segregate, and initiate Discrepancy Reports for nonconforming product. Contact supervision immediately to report equipment problems. Assure lot traceability. Read new and revise specifications when mandated. Be able to use a variety of dial gages, micrometers, dial indicators, hand grinders and hand tools. Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other related duties as assigned. Work in a safe manner at all times, alerting management of hazardous conditions.
