Customer Service

We are currently looking for a technically savvy dynamic Customer Service Representative who will bring confidence, integrity and an excellent work ethic to our client’s team!  In this role you will focus on the customer’s business needs and serve as a solution advisor throughout the entire customer experience.

This is a full-time contract to hire position in the Old Saybrook, CT area. $13 - $15 an hour

The Customer Service Representative primary responsibilities include:


  • Process, log, and be first response to incoming customer service requests through Zendesk ticketing application.
  • Filter and complete simple requests and escalate higher priority / more complex problems to the service manager.
  • Track and monitor tickets to ensure requests are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. 

    • This may involve any of the following: 
    • Contacting manufacturers to order replacement parts.
    • Outsourcing and scheduling field service repairs.
    • Coordinating with customers to send equipment back for repair.
    • Gather necessary information to forward onto a service technician for troubleshooting.


Additional tasks for the service department include:


  • Order and keep track of incoming repair parts and supplies.
  • Organize and help maintain the service department.
  • Assist the service manager or technicians in various non-technical tasks.

Requirements:


  • Excellent email and phone support etiquette and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Above-average computer literacy – willingness to learn more is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows 10, Google Chrome.
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box and improvise solutions to new problems.
  • Be able to adapt quickly to new processes as we work to improve overall workflow efficiency.
  • Have the ability to research, improvise, and learn quickly
