Small, quality precision machine shop in the Watertown area has an opening in their quality department for a senior level Quality Assurance Inspector.

Direct Hire! 70K - 85K, depending on experience. Nice benefits package to include 401K Match, Medical Benefits, PTO and Holiday Pay.

We are looking for a skilled QA Inspector with at least 15 years' quality assurance experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of this quality control role include:

* Managing Non-Conformance process
* Full inspection process including First Article (FAI), in process and final
* Processing of standard quality inspection documents
* Conducting internal audits
* Preparing the shop for quality audits
* Managing and driving AS9100
* Taking the lead in production projects
* Monitoring and calibrating parts
* Processing inventory and purchase orders as needed
* Interacting with vendors and customers

Selected applicants will have the following experience and skills:

* A minimum of 15 years' of quality assurance experience
* Inspection experience including FAI, in-process and final
* AS9100 knowledge
* Quality Audit experience
* Ability to meet ever-changing demands, averaging 25 - 300 piece runs
* Quality Control documentation
* Calibration experience
* Must have strong knowledge of standard measuring equipment including gauges, comparator / shadow graphs, CMM, Micrometers, and Calipers
