RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY Naugatuck Valley Community College with campuses in Waterbury, CT and Danbury CT, is a constituent unit of the Board of Regents for Higher Education, Connecticut State Colleges and Universities. We invite applications for the following anticipated opening: Full Time Tenure Track 10-month Faculty position starting January 17, 2017: Radiologic Technology Program Faculty/Program Director open rank LOCATION: Waterbury, Danbury or any other assigned location. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Health Sciences and Director of Nursing, the Radiologic Technology Program Faculty/Program Director is expected to develop and teach a variety of courses and shall coordinate the RTA program including program development and accreditation; faculty selection and professional development; instructional quality; administration and resource management; budget and fiscal management; and program evaluation and assessment. MINIMUM SALARY AND QUALIFICATIONS: All ranks require a graduate of a JRCERT or regionally accredited Radiologic Technology Program, with a minimum of a Master s Degree in Radiology or a related field. Must hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists current registration in radiography or equivalent (i.e., unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located). Must possess or be eligible to apply for State of Connecticut radiographer license. Candidates must have a minimum four years college teaching experience, or eight years work-related experience, or a combination of 2 years teaching experience and 4 years work- related experience.
