INSIDE SALES FOR GROWING LUMBER & MILLWORK DEALER

Inside Sales Essential Responsibilities For Lumber & Building Material Sales:

• building material sales to professional builders, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers
• place special orders
• prepare quotes for lumber related products, decks, windows, etc…
• troubleshoot problems customers may have
• maintain showrooms
• pull store items for delivery
• provide accurate delivery instructions, manage deposits and customer payments

Inside Sales Lumber & Building Material Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• building material knowledge, trim moulding, interior/exterior millwork, doors and windows
• ability to read blueprints is helpful
• work with computer POS systems
• strong interpersonal skills
• phone etiquette
• able to prioritize and manage multiple jobs
• ability to make change, handle money and credit cards
• be able to lift, carry and move 70#, if needed
• be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
• team player, long term outlook, advocate for company
