Qualified candidates must enjoy working with children, possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles, and current pediatric health issues; written and verbal communication skills; the ability to use health-screening equipment; ability to maintain and organize accurate medical records; ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment and discretion in carrying out program responsibilities; ability to respond quickly to medical emergencies; ability to drive to all work locations. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing AND preferably at least two years experience in pediatric care. Must possess a State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license, a valid State of Connecticut driver s license and current CPR certification.
