EDUCATION ANTICIPATED ADMINISTRATIVE & MANAGEMENT OPENINGS Naugatuck Valley Community College with campuses in Waterbury, CT and Danbury, CT, is a constituent unit of the Board of Regents for Higher Education, Connecticut State Colleges and Universities. We invite applications for the following anticipated openings: Full Time, 12-Month Management position: Associate Dean of Academic Affairs - collaborates with and assists the Academic Dean with administrative, strategic, and research-based support for program and discipline assessment, advancement of academic rigor, research and development of student success strategies, and performs other essential duties as assigned. Full-Time, 12-Month Administrative positions: Assistant Director of Admissions - performs a full range of operations and administrative tasks in support of the admission and enrollment of students at a two-year Connecticut Community College which as open enrollment and which offers degree and certificate programs in a broad range of liberal arts, transfer, occupational and career studies. Associate Director of the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) - assists in the supervision of a staff of professional, support staff, and student workers who provide tutoring and basic skills instruction for students. Director of Facilities - responsible for the operation and maintenance of all campus facilities including buildings, equipment, furnishings, grounds and vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Diverstity Recruitment, Advising and Retention Specialist - responsible for recruiting, advising and providing the assistance needed by the students to assist them in attaining academic achievement commensurate with their capabilities through effective performance in the essential functions of advising and academic support; student retention advising program development; outreach and student recruitment. Public Relations Associate - supports the college's strategic marketing plan with writing, editing, media relations, research tasks, public relations initiatives, web content management and positioning strategies.
