CITY OF WATERBURY The Waterbury Dept. of Public Health Positive Parenting Program is currently seeking candidates for the following grant funded position: FULL-TIME CASE MANAGER This home visiting program services pregnant and parenting women in the Greater Waterbury area. Qualified candidates must possess: *Strong knowledge base of maternal and child health *Counseling/case management experience *Cultural competency and familiarity with community resources *Bachelor s degree in social work/human services from an accredited college/univ. *Valid driver s license and a vehicle Bilingual preferred PART-TIME MALE COUNSELOR /GROUP FACILITATOR This position requires demonstrated ability to work with male urban population and familiarity with community resources. Experience in counseling, outreach, and peer group facilitation is required. Strong knowledged based of teen pregnancy, substance abuse, probation/parole. Candidates must be culturally competent and have a valid driver's license/vehicle, bilingual preferred.
