PLANT OPERATOR The Town of Plymouth Water Pollution Control Authority is accepting applications for the position of Plant Operator. Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of a 1.75 MGD wastewater treatment facility including the collection system and 8 pumping stations. Job duties will also require laboratory testing and analysis. A more detailed job description can be obtained with the application. Employment Requirements: The applicant shall have a High school diploma or equivalent, a valid CT DMV license. A valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL) or be able to obtain one within the first six months of employment. A valid State of Connecticut Wastewater license or obtain one within two years of employment as required by CT DEEP Operator Certification Regulations. Must pass a medical exam and background check. Salary will vary with experience, education and certification. Employment includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Term Life insurance, 401a and or Voluntary 457 plan.
