FIREFIGHTER/EMT The Southington Fire Department will accept applications for a hiring list of entry level Firefighter / EMT from November 6, 2015, at 12:00, through December 18, 2015 at 12:00. Applicants are to be submitted at Southington Fire Headquarters during the administrative office hours, Monday Friday 08:00-15:30.There is a non-refundable application fee of $50.00. Payments must be in the form of cash or money order payable to MRI. No personal checks will be accepted. The test is limited to the first 75 qualified applicants. Applicants must have a current Connecticut EMT Certification at the time of application. A recent Candidate Physical Ability Test card (issued after 12/1/2014) will be needed in order to take the written exam. The exam is scheduled for January 23, 2016.
