SEASONAL WORK Groundskeepers/Pruners Heritage Village located in Southbury, CT has open positions for Groundskeepers and Pruners. Candidates will assist in grounds maintenance operations including seeding, fertilizing, mulching, shrub care and planting operations as well as leaf removal from April until November 2020, 40 hrs/wk, 7am-3pm Monday to Friday. Ability to use power and lawn equipment. Ability to follow oral and written direction is a must. Valid DL/State ID, social security card required. Electrician Heritage Village located in Southbury; CT has an opening for a Seasonal Electrician from April until October 2020, 40 hrs/wk Monday to Friday. Candidate will assist as a maintenance electrician and will perform extensive range of internal and external electrical maintenance tasks, involving repair or replacement of electric heating, ceiling heating elements, cluster and street lighting, short circuits, calibration and/or replacements of thermostats, etc. Must be able to read schematic drawings and diagnose electrical troubles with use of appropriate electrical testing apparatus. Performs small wiring jobs for construction changeovers as required. Considerable ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and residents. High School Diploma plus formal apprenticeship training in electrical work and three to five years' experience as a maintenance electrician. E-2 Unlimited Electrical Journeyman Occupational License (asbestos training will be provided). Must have a valid Connecticut Driver's License.
