EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR Town of Southbury Full Time with benefits plans, organizes, and directs all aspects of Emergency Management for the Town; coordinates activities with other state & local agencies having Emergency Mgmt responsib. Acts on behalf of the chief executive to build local readiness by developing local emergency plans, in coordination with community businesses and industry while at the same time ensuring interoperability within the State and National framework. Bachelor's degree plus related FEMA courses. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Successful completion of the following NIMS courses: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-400, ICS-700 and ICS-800. Must have a valid motor vehicle license. Salary depends on experience.
