Senior Accountant

Working with a high volume of data and tight timeframes, you will accurately complete month-end closing, journal entries, written commentary for the executive management group, and plant/corporate cost statements. You will also handle special cost projects—such as geological drilling and insurance/liabilities—and yearly audits.

To qualify, you must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA desired
• At least four years of accounting experience
• Good understanding of month-end close processes, GAAP, IFRS, reporting and controls.
• Acute communication, analytical, time management, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Experience with computerized accounting systems and MS Office applications
