FSS Compliance Assistant
FSS Compliance Assistant Position serves as liaison between Meriden Housing Authority's Family Self Sufficiency program and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. The MHA's Family Self Sufficiency program participants each hold a Housing Choice Voucher which requires compliance with the program. This position will be responsible for coordinating activities where HCV and FSS overlap i.e. responsibilities include HCV recertification and interims for the FSS program. Oversight of file management including scanning for document retainage as well as HCV and FSS program audit compliance. Verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish required. Bachelor's Degree in Business / Public Administration, social service or related field with 2 years' experience in human relations, social work and public housing or Section 8 management or Associate degree or two years completed college course work from accredited college or university with 4 years exp. with public housing or Section 8 management.
