We are the largest industrial gases company in North and South America and one of the largest worldwide.  The company produces, sell an distributes atmospheric, process and specialty gases and high-performance surface coatings.  We are currently seeking a Vehicle Mechanic in the Suffield, CT area.

Responsibilities Include:

• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains rolling stock, running gear, suspension systems, etc.


• Must be able to use manufacture manuals to perform maintenance repairs


• Maintain fleet appearance by repairing and refabricating body parts


• Maintains parts inventory to include tires, fuel, and oil/lubricants


• Perform road calls to help keep trucks moving to customers


• Must have or must be able to get air break certification


• Must have or be able to get air conditioner repair certification


• Must be able to do preventative maintenance on all rolling equipment


• Have a combination of training and/or experience totaling at least 1 year

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Experience as a mechanic


• Preferred but not necessary, CDL class A with hazmat and tanker certification.


• Computer proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to learn manufacturer specific software using in diagnosing
