WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST; an integral member of the Distribution team in ENFIELD, CT!

The Warehouse Specialist will provide support for the Distribution team by performing tasks including but not limited to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Working with Inventory Management and Product Marketing to ensure that all Demo products are stocked and identified.

* Unpacking and examining incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and communicating with purchasing and inventory control to rectify damages and shortages. Routing items to departments, including repair services.

* Comparing identifying information by counting, weighing, or measuring items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

* Sorting parcels for shipment, according to destination or other classification, and placing shipments in designated areas.

* Conveying materials and items from receiving, production or repair areas to storage or to other designated areas.

* Maintaining inventory and other stock records.

* Operating lift truck, pallet jack, or using hand truck to unload trucks, move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
