Requirements

Position Summary

As the primary point of contact with borrowers the Employee gathers and coordinates the submission of required documentation needed to process and obtain mortgage approval while keeping customers informed on the status of their loan.  The Employee must communicate effectively as liaison between the borrowers and the operations departments within the organization.  

  • Demonstrate the highest level of exceptional internal and external customer service
  • Collect necessary documentation from borrowers
  • Follow up with borrower to ensure all underwriting conditions are met
  • Maintain customer documentation and database files according to regulatory standards and company policies
  • Ensure that the proper status is reflected on pipeline
  • Proactively pursue leads to ensure healthy pipeline
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls

Educational Requirements

  • Must have the ability to obtain an mortgage originator license as required by SAFE ACT
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
