PURCHASING AGENT/WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

A well-established distributor of lighting and electrical products is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable person to supervise our central Connecticut purchasing and warehouse operation.

 

Duties to include:

Inventory Management

Purchasing Inventory

Vendor Negotiation

Pricing Updates

Material Receiving

Manage shipping and receiving

Manage Employees

Other Duties as Assigned

 

Requirements:

Two years of Purchasing/Warehouse experience along with one year of supervisory experience.  Lighting and Electrical experience preferred, but not required.  

Must be computer literate and Microsoft applications proficient.  Distribution software  knowledge a plus, but not required. 

You must possess a clean driving record. 

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, with the ability to multitask.  You must know how to prioritize and have great interpersonal and organizational skills.  You must possess strong leadership and communication abilities while maintaining a team work environment.
