PARALEGAL POSITION Nuzzo & Roberts, LLC is seeking two experienced Paralegals: Workers' Compensation Paralegal to handle a large volume of defense files. Seeking paralegals with at least 2 years related experience (preferably defense), knowledge of workers' compensation pleadings / procedures, strong written / verbal skills, and ability to obtain and review medical records. Responsibilities include heavy phone contact, preparation of forms /pleadings/correspondence, investigation of coverage/claim, review of dictation, tracking deadlines, maintaining calendars, obtaining and analyzing wage records, file organization, etc. Litigation Paralegal position requires strong organizational / analytical skills; thorough understanding of the Practice Book; experience with analyzing medical records, drafting motions / pleadings, maintaining deadlines, preparing / answering IRPs; gathering / reviewing investigation, summarizing depositions, preparing detailed correspondence and reviewing / proofreading documents. Excellent writing, spelling, grammatical skills, four year degree, a solid GPA, and at least 3+ years exp. as a paralegal (preferably defense) desired.
