Manufacturing Process/Quality Technician Position Requirements: Required to have a strong electrical knowledge that can be utilized to perform inspections using multi-meters, power supplies, high pot testers, and various other electrical equipment. Additionally must be proficient in the use of standard gages such as mics, calipers, indicators and optical comparator. Must have a good understanding of continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing / production principles and techniques. Knowledge of electro-magnetic products is highly desirable. Required to assists other inspection personnel in understanding test procedures and use of test equipment. Must be able to effectively communicate in oral and written form, and be able to communicate with individuals at a cross-functional levels. Experience is a must. This is not a training position. The successful candidate must be able hit the ground running. Supervisory experience is a plus. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor s Degree in related Engineering or Technology field and/or 5-7 years of related experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEAs, PPAP s, 8D s, and quality systems knowledge are essential.
