Network Sales Engineer

 

Job Purpose:  IT Network and Systems Sales Support

As an ACT Network and Systems Architect, you will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing and operating enterprise infrastructure for clients and to understand our clients’ needs and craft sustainable IT roadmaps along with the manufacturer. You will need to be willing to get Juniper and Aruba Certified if not already.  You will have the opportunity to work with top IT professionals and gain valuable experience throughout our industry.

 

Job Responsibilities:

A network systems engineer is responsible for Sales Engineering support, installations, BOM creation assistance and SOW assistance along with planning and designing and implementing solutions for multi-vendor Route/Switch/Wireless and Server solutions.

• Provide assessments, design deployment and implementation services of multi -vendor solutions
• Engage various manufacturer engineering resources for lab access and design assistance
• Assess customer environments and make recommendations
• Travel when needed to customer sites
• Serve as a post-sales resource for sales and engineering
• Act as an escalation point for mission critical environments
• Meet with key vendors to stay current on products and technologies
• Attain and maintain multiple manufacturer specific advanced certifications. ie: CCNA, JNCIA, Aruba etc.
• Complete additional relevant certifications, as recommended or assigned by supervisor Requirements

Education and Experience:

• 2+ years of hands on experience in IT
• 4-year College degree preferred
• Multiple industry-recognized certifications preferred. i.e.: CCNA, JNCIA
