Immediate full time opening for a MIG/TIG Welder for a well respected welding company located in Berlin, Connecticut.

Job Requirements:

• Preparing surfaces to be welded
• Setting up and assembling parts to be welded
• Tacking and/or welding metal parts together using MIG welding equipment to complete an assembly or finished product
• Repairing broken parts by welding them as assigned
• Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly
• Follow safety rules and expectations and use safe work practices
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years experience in MIG/TIG welding
• Good verbal communication and the ability to interact with supervisors and co-workers
• The ability to be present at work, ability to work overtime, arrive on time and be at work station ready for work at the start of shift
• The ability to read blueprints

This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m to completion of job.
