Assistant Tax Collector Town of Beacon Falls is hiring for an Assistant Tax Collector. This position will administer, direct and participate in the billing and collection of: Real Estate taxes, motor vehicle, and personal property taxes, sewer assessments, the maintenance and processing of moneys collected to the general fund, and the preparation of reports of collections. Must have thorough knowledge of the principles and procedures of municipal revenue collection assessment, land records and tax laws requirements and procedures. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and required tax reports. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Public Administration- or an equivalent of education and related experience.
