HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT The Town of Middlebury is seeking a part time Human Resource Assistant responsible for the administration of employee policies and procedures, position job descriptions, employment advertisements, job applications, salary administration, promotions and transfers, new employee documentation to include bkgrd checks, pre-employment physical exams & drug tests. Maintain confidential employee files. Monitor drug and alcohol random testing for commercial drivers. Perform diversified assignments pertaining to Human Resources to ensure Town compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, HIPAA, Civil Rights Acts, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination Act, OSHA reporting, and all applicable executive orders. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Position is a part time position working 19.5 hrs/week. Probationary period of six (6) months.
