Our Child Care Workers assist in the safety and development of preschool children (3-5 yrs of age), including planning and implementation of curriculum; and establishing and maintaining supportive relationships with families all in accordance with established principles of early childhood education, NAEYC Accreditation, and CT state licensing regulations. Understanding of DPH licensing requirements is recommended. Child Care Workers uphold all obligations of being a mandated reporter.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• CDA Credential –or- CDA credential equivalent as defined by NAEYC (at least 12 college credits in ECE, CD, EI Ed, or EC Spec Ed); Associates Degree preferred.
• One year experience in Early Childhood preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Positive outlook required.
• Bilingual a plus.
