The position of Director of Business Development & Public Relations will be responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships in the community and to meet and exceed current budgeted census goals for our facility. The yearly and quarterly sales and marketing plans will focus the day to day job tasks.

The efforts of this position will work in tandem with the strategic business plan, as well as the leadership team, in the facilities. (ACHN), Advanced Community Health Network is looking for a competitive, self-motivated, forward thinking sales and marketing professional to champion partnerships with Healthcare providers focused on census and driving market share in our Post-Acute / Skilled Nursing Facilities and Specialty Programs.

 

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and participate in appropriate networking opportunities that will position the Organization for enhanced community awareness that translates to increased business and positive public relations.
  • Achieve/exceed with team Key Performance Metrics to included facility budgeted census. Specifically, generate leads, schedule tours, advance the sales process, ad meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
  • ​Identify new business and market expansion opportunities and services that will increase company market share and to present plans to senior leadership team and to take the lead in implementation.
  • ​Develop sales strategies to maximize admissions, including daily contact with existing and potential referral sources (i.e. physicians, hospitals case managers, social workers, nursing and discharge staff, etc)
  • ​Perform market research and provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify sales opportunities.
  • Analyze business opportunities and develop monthly strategic sales plans with clear objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Manage, retain and grow relationships with clients and prospects.
  • To manage, coordinate and task In House Admission Coordinator and On Site Liasion to obtain optimal productivity and outcomes for which will be reported directly to The Director of Business Development & Public Relations

 

Position Requirements:

  • Solid sales and business development experience and proven track record in identifying and building local relationships and referrals.
  • Ability to create and execute a business development plan that yields increased referral generation.
  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills along with the ability to facilitate small group presentations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and goal oriented is required
  • 3-5 + years’ demonstrated sales experience in healthcare environment preferred (i.e. hospital, skilled nursing or long term care.

 

The ideal candidate for the Director of Business Development & Public Relations position will come from a health care related field that is similar to the long term care setting such as hospice ort hospital. With previous admissions and marketing experience preferred.

Candidates must be enthusiastic and willing to learn and execute the long term care sales process. Basic computer literacy and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an exceptional personality are a must.
