Nursing Home Administrator

Connecticut, New Haven County Nursing Facility is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for a 100 bed facility.  This role is responsible for the direction and strategy of the operations of the facility including nursing, rehab, recreation, admissions, social services, staffing, education, facility plant, and dietary.

The position will be available the 1^st  of 2017.

We provide high quality services in skilled nursing, sub-acute rehabilitation, dementia support, long-term care and hospice care, in a home like environment with competent, dedicated and caring staff.

Responsibilities:

►Oversite of operations and standards of practice for various levels of care.

►Plan, organize, implement and evaluate patient care.

►Assure that all aspects of clinical care are delivered utilizing best practice patterns.

►Establish and maintain local, state, regional and national contacts.

►Monitors and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

►Develop an organizational structure that enhances the professionalism of staff and provides for education and development of staff.

►Responsible for evaluation and reorganization of systems impacting professional and ancillary staff.

►Heads senior management team in all aspects of leadership and management, including developing a strategic plan to meet the facility’s mission and to meet resident and family expectations.

►Oversees staffing and personnel including education and performance management.  

 

Requirements:

►Minimum five (5) years experience.

 

Education:

►Must possess a current Connecticut Nursing Home Administrator License.

►Minimum Bachelors degree in Nursing, Public Health Administration, or related field.
