Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (Loureiro), a 100% employee owned, full-service multi-disciplinary engineering and construction firm headquartered in Plainville, CT has an immediate opening for a part-time Technician. This part-time position (up to 30 hours/week) is based in our equipment/materials storage yard facility in Southington, CT.

Key responsibilities:

Ordering and maintaining stock; recordkeeping; preparing and filling equipment requests for field crews on a daily basis; equipment calibration, repair and maintenance; making arrangements for repairs and monitoring daily inspection program logs on Company vehicles; general yard maintenance to include housekeeping, safety equipment inspections, and acting as a liaison with the property owners.

Requirements:

A high school diploma and an appropriate background (mechanically inclined, self-motivated, related prior experience). Basic computer skills and the ability to operate a forklift for moving materials around the yard are a plus.
