Position Overview

State Farm Insurance Agent located in Wallingford, CT is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional. As a State Farm team member for Tatia Winecoff - State Farm Agent, you will learn insurances, quote and sell insurances as well as build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service such as responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements:

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
• Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life & Health license (must be able to obtain)
• Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
