PRODUCTION MANAGER/FOREMAN We are seeking a Production Manager/Foreman to oversee the manufacturing processes for a small drawn metal tube manufacturing plant. Plan, schedule, coordinate mfg. and product delivery schedules to meet customer requirements, specifications You will have about 10 direct reports and are responsible for their work on the floor Experienced in managing work routings and allocations to maximize yields Req'd to perform quality inspections utilizing micrometers calipers, gauges Ensure daily operators schedule is updated reflecting any changes Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions where necessary 5 years exp in the drawing of non-ferrous metal tubes such as brass/copper/nickel and the associated processes of annealing, cleaning, pointing, cutting, and scheduling Experience with creating rundown calculations from starting size to finish size. Experience with inventory management MRP system & experience with the mgmt of stock and inventory Exp. within a union shop This will require a shop floor focus and hands on mentality You will be required to walk, sit, lift, carry, push and stand safely for varying times.
