Responsibilities:

To reach our goals, we need superb employees!   As Recruiter, you will identify and recruit the best, brightest, and most committed executives, managers, clinical support staff and administrative staff.  You will enable the dedicated, accomplished team of Community Health Center employees to deliver transformational health care.   

 

The roles and responsibilities of a Sr. Clinical / Physician Recruiter include:

  • Working directly with hiring managers to lead recruitment of executive, clinical providers and operational staff
  • Identifying new and creative sources to identify highly qualified candidates
  • Conducting in-depth interviews to assess skills, expertise and qualifications
  • Development and analysis of market data, referrals and other lead-generation activities in order to identify potential recruitment targets
  • Testing, developing and applying innovative screening and selection techniques to improve quality of hires
  • Initiating contacts and establishing communications with potential candidates to secure their interest in Community Health Center
  • Engaging senior management and hiring managers in the recruitment process
  • Reviewing and evaluating recruitment activities and initiatives to develop enhanced strategies and tactics which will increase the rate and number of successful hires
  • Analyzing job market, forecasting employment needs and developing an annual recruitment plan to support planned/current hiring activity and ensure adherence to company clinical staffing objectives
  • Implementing approved recruitment strategies, as well as identifying and tracking the cost, benefit, and effectiveness of recruitment sources and activities
  • Partnering and managing vendor relationships with external employment agencies, search firms and recruitment companies
  • Evaluating resumes and interviewing candidates to ensure skills and abilities meet requirements for open positions
  • Visiting job fairs, educational institutions and conferences to identify and recruit candidates
  • Active support of on-boarding and organizational entry for new hires
  • Administering position control process for applicant tracking system
  • Maintaining and developing applicant tracking system
  • Completing special projects as assigned

 

Experience Required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree – Required 
  • Minimum of  5+ years of experience in recruitment
  • Experience with physician / provider recruitment is required for this role
  • Successful recruitment track record, showing success with recruitment of diverse candidates for varied positions
  • Experience with HRIS basic functions (preferred), i.e. WorkDay
  • Experience with medical provider contracts, negotiations and familiarity with legal jargon as it pertains to new hire contracts and offer letters
  • Experience with a robust Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is needed for this role / experience with iCIMS is a plus.
  • Must be experienced with applicant documentation, compliance, interview guidelines and etiquette to assist hiring managers in appropriate /  HR best practices
  • Must be able to work across all levels in our agency - will work closely with executive leadership
  • Ability to occasionally work unpredictable schedule that regularly includes evenings and weekends, to support deadlines
  • Reliable access to automobile for regular regional travel  (position requires regional travel within CT to our local CT sites)
