1^st shift VTL Machinists AND ID/OD Grinder Operators

Sets up and performs a variety of machining operations on manual vertical turret lathes, milling and boring machines for pre-machining, and finish machining operations required for aircraft parts repair.  Responsibilities include working from process traveler, blueprints, parts drawings, manuals, specifications and verbal directions to determine proper dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and set up requirements for machining functions.
