POSITION: FIELD SERVICE DISPATCHER

 

Scales Industrial Technologies Inc., the recognized leader in compressed air systems equipment and service for over 50 years is currently seeking an experienced dispatcher to join our team of service professionals.

 

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with at least 2 years of experience in the field of dispatching or logistics. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Directs the activity of field service technicians, ensuring timely completion of tasks; follows-up on issues related to service and operations.

 

• Exhibits excellent telephone etiquette and listening skills.

 

• Ensures accurate and timely dispatch of all service orders; ensures maximum staff productivity.

 

• Develops and promotes positive, effective customer service relations with and ensures that technicians are doing the same.

 

• Resolves customer problems or complaints; resolves employee problems or complaints.

 

• Acts as a positive role model; possesses integrity, reliability, focus, commitment, flexibility, diplomacy and a team spirit.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills. 

 

• Effective organizational and leadership skills necessary to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the activities of field service technicians.

 

• Experience working within a fast paced, demanding environment. 

 

• Above average ability to multi-task. 

 

• Consistent ability to maintain composure/professionalism under pressure.

 

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and data entry experience with any standard Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.  

 

• Mechanical aptitude.

 

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a dispatch or logistics position.

 

• Prefer 2 year College Degree.
