Service industry employer in greater Hartford area seeking individual with accounting background or experience; must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel required, QuickBooks knowledge helpful. Must be able to multi task and have ability to work independently as well as part of team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Full time administrative assistant needed to round out administrative team. The position will have primary responsibility to work with and provide backup to other administrative staff in supporting management and will work collaboratively to achieve administrative efficiency.

Duties will include timely and accurate entry of information critical to daily operation of the company including gathering information from a variety of sources and entering this data, monthly/yearly report generation and analysis, reconciliation of purchases and invoices, processing account credits, credit card processing, and telephone support.
