The Town of Mansfield is seeking to fill a full-time Public Works Specialist vacancy to support the work of the Public Works and     Facilities Management departments.  Sample duties of this paraprofessional position include: assisting with budgeting; coordinating purchasing processes for capital and operating projects; conducting analytical work related to the Town's fleet, infrastructure, energy, and departmental resources; providing support to agency staff and commissions; preparing and maintaining personnel, payroll and related records and files; and assisting with departmental risk management and human resources tasks.  

Position is full-time with benefits package. Hourly rate of pay is $24.29 - $30.82; hiring rate is dependent upon the selected         candidate's qualifications and experience. Candidates are required to have an           Associates degree in natural resources,    environmental science, public administration, accounting or related field; bachelor's degree preferred.  Some experience in related field, preferably a municipal setting, is desirable.
