Fuel Oil Company in the Greater Hartford Area seeking an experienced Oil Sales person with a proven sales track record.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for following up on leads / referrals and initiating calls to generate sales.

·         Scheduling appointments to conduct home assessments and consult with homeowner. Negotiating and closing deals.

Qualifications desired:

• 3-5 years sales experience.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong presentation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Energetic personality and positive attitude.
• Dependable.
• Well organized and ability to work independently.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to use a computer for accessing and sending e-mail, opening and revising documents, accessing internet and ability to use Microsoft Word.
• Maintain a basic understanding of Oil, Heating & Cooling.
• Ability to sell product AND sell value
• Understand markets, customer needs, and competitor landscape
• Analyze the market to identify key growth opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of competitor strategies, pricing, and general market activities
