Truck and Auto mechanic position available in a two-person, state-of-the-art fleet repair shop. The Fleet is comprised of modern class 6 and class 8 heating oil trucks (Kenworth, Peterbilt, Frieghtliner) , bulk transport tankers, automobiles, service vans and utility vehicles (Mercedes Benz Sprinters and Ford Utility) as well as various Specialty Equipment.  The shop was recently refit with state-of-the-art equipment including modern lifts, high intensity lighting, central lube and air compressor system, a fully equipped stockroom, office & administration area, full bathroom with shower, and all safety equipment.  The shop also utilizes state-of-the-art vehicle maintenance tracking and scheduling software as well as a variety of other organizational tools used to coordinate and organize workflow. All applicants should have a professional attitude, broad knowledge of diesel truck/automotive diagnostic and repair and be fully equipped with job appropriate tools.  CDL / Hazmat licensing, mechanical education / certification as well as experience in petroleum handling equipment are preferred. Other skills such as welding, hydraulics and body work are of value.    This is a great working environment with a friendly and supportive staff.
