Stamford, Fairfield County, CT. Dsgn. & implmnt. web-services components & scalable/distributed server-side components (30%). Dsgn, implmnt, & maintain common s/ware-appliance framework modules (30%). Analyze, research, & dsgn appliance-related security integrations (30%). Resolve service & high-availability issues related to deployment, performance, stability, & fine-tuning (5%). Build automation tools to detect & prevent availability problems (5%). Reqs: Master s deg, in Comp Sci or Engg & 3 yrs. exp. as Web Dvlpr or S/ware Engr; OR Bach s deg, in Comp Sci or Engg & 5 yrs. of post-Bachelor s deg. exp. as Web Dvlpr or S/ware Engr; OR foreign equiv./combo of edu & exp. Exp. must incl: Linux performance tuning; building secured commercial Linux-based appliances from kernel to user-interfaces & installers; & automation of s/ware modules & packages (LDAP directory-services, web-services, Linux daemons). Exp. w/ the following also reqd.: security products & application security; encryption/crypto algorithms; integration w/ 3rd-party products & libraries; configuration/project mgmt.; Web Services & SOAP; Build automation & unit testing; s/ware dvlpmt.; Python, PHP, Perl, Shell scripting; & web-dvlpmt. framework (web-py, Bootstrap, Knockout, jQuery).
