Client Project Manager

Do you want to work for one of the fastest growing companies in broadcast marketing?  CRN, an award-winning marketing company, is hiring a client project manager.   The Client Project Manager will act as the liaison between the client and CRN personnel on every facet of project implementation.  This individual will see that every project is executed within strategy, on deadline and on budget and that it “exceeds expectations.”

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Manage the total process of project implementation, both internally with the CRN team and externally with the client and any independent vendors.  This includes but is not limited to:

  • Clearly communicate the project objectives and strategies to the CRN team outlining the specific quantifiable and qualitative goals the project must meet.  Exercise sound judgment and common sense when evaluating scenarios in which a project element is not in perfect keeping with the specifications.  Assess deviations and determine the level of acceptability and where more revisions and work needs to be done.  This applies to all project “deliverables” including media, merchandise, website, creative, trade marketing, etc.
  • Initiate and maintain internal and external communications, report  project status; secure information and data required from CRN colleagues, the client and vendors and disperse information to these three audiences; track and document project revisions throughout the process and communicate those revisions to CRN and the client as appropriate and in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide primary day-to-day contact with client and CRN team.
  • Anticipate, identify and formulate solutions to potential and actual project challenges.
  • Negotiate and define deadlines both internal and external and insure that those deadlines are met or revised as needed.
  • Monitor proposed budget vs. actual project budget expenditures; resolve discrepancies and plan for alternatives as necessary.
  • Be the “go to” person for the CRN Business Development Executive on the project.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: BA or BS (Liberal Arts, Media, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • Work experience: 5 – 8 years in marketing/media/direct client contact role
  • Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
