LAYOUT INSPECTORS

Colt’s Manufacturing Company, LLC is looking for full time experienced LAYOUT INSPECTORS. Rate of pay, $24.41 per hour.

The qualified candidate will inspect and check tools, gages, jigs and fixtures against blueprints to detect off-tolerance, improper heat treating, etc. Candidate will also Plan inspections using size blocks, sine bars and other precision instruments. This is highly diversified work with limited instructions. Requires the use of

advanced shop mathematics and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments as well as interpretation of complicated drawings and specifications. Knowledge of tool making,

practical use of gages, and heat treating methods a must.



 

This is a Union position, following the provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
