Education or Work Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years’ electrical/electronic & PLC troubleshooting work experience.

Job Description: A hands on Electro/mechanical engineer for in field and plant machine projects.

Preferred Knowledge:  

• Experience or equivalent education servicing or troubleshooting CNC/PLC machine tools.
• PLC and CNC controls including ladder logic, CNC Programming
• AC and DC motor control
• Multi axis motion systems
• AC and DC circuits
• 480 volt 3 phase circuits
• High vacuum systems (10^-6 m-bar), including diffusion, turbo molecular and cryogenic pumps
• Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies, X, Y, Z, Rotary, Tilt motions.
• Optical viewing systems eyepiece and video display including seam locating

PTR is willing to train qualified candidates on some knowledge requirements.
