IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN

We are searching for an experienced irrigation technician to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

Adjusting and replacing irrigation heads, repairing in line breaks, a good understanding of irrigation controllers and the ability to visually inspect irrigation systems.

Capable of advanced repair and troubleshooting functions including wire tracing, diagnosing and repairing central control systems.

Knowledge of electrical meters for diagnostic purpose is essential.

Familiarity with installation and repairs for commercial systems along with diagnostic abilities is desired.

Candidate should have a strong problem solving aptitude; understand basics of irrigation design and posses the written skills to summarize findings.

 

Additional desired qualifications: 

Ability to identify unique site conditions affecting proper operation of irrigation systems, operate various size trenching equipment, install irrigation controllers, connect and troubleshoot wires and automatic valves.

Good communication and customer skills along with basic computer knowledge are required.
