POSITION SUMMARY:  

Management of Sales activities in Territory or Account(s)  through direct selling and team coordination involving personnel in Regional Territories,  Applications Engineering, Customer Support, Market Segment Managers, Equipment Support, as well as external sales partners where applicable on a global basis.

Originates and implements ideas for sales growth and expansion utilizing Dymax Leading Edge Technology. Attends and supports local and territory seminars/tradeshows.  Develops and delivers account strategy on a global basis for the Key Strategic Accounts in the territory.  

This Global Account Manager should be located in the region where the account(s) are most heavily focused (United States) and be able to travel to the other facilities on a global basis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Achieve growth objectives by implementing the Leading Edge Products   to develop projects, monitoring and reporting progress.

2.     Provide technical project support to Dymax Territory Managers, Sales Partners (if applicable) and customers to define Target Growth Opportunities and meet the growth objectives of the corporation.

3.     Coordinate projects with Dymax on a Global basis. Reporting all projects in CRM and monitoring thru the local Territory Manager when needed.

4.     Direct follow up on any leads that come thru Dymax.

5.     Provide technical seminars/presentations for key engineering sites initiating projects and coordinate these with Dymax Applications Engineering, directly or with territory managers and/or sales partners.

6.     Develop and implement a global strategy for the account, working with the local Territory Managers in the locations worldwide.  Reporting on the progress of the account to management. 

7.     Understanding and reacting to the global requirements of their customers, communicating this to the entire team.

8.     Develop the level of in-depth coverage of projects at key Dymax accounts by expanding our base of engineering contacts and providing support to insure we remain the sole Supplier for Leading Edge Products. Developing relationships beyond the engineer and understanding the hierarchy of the account.

9.     Maintain a complete competitive intelligence program and provide data to the Dymax Sales, Marketing and Applications Engineering Departments on a regular/timely basis.

10.  Monthly reporting on the account(s) to the global team and management.

11.  Maintain consistent professional/and ethical behavior.

 

 EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:

Technical degree in Engineering or Chemistry, plus an MBA or equivalent experience. Three to Five years successful industrial technical experiences; Sales Partner management, Tech service and relative market experience a definite plus.  Self-motivated, independent performer with good analytical, planning and communication/computer skills, plus the ability to interact with all levels of management and translate technical requirements into successful sales programs.
