Surveyor/ Engineering Assistant in Training City of Torrington Performs a broad range of engineering and surveying duties involved with design, construction, report preparation, review and/or inspection of civil work projects. Collects and analyzes technical information to develop logical solutions or alternatives to problems. Minimum Qualifications: AS degree Civil Engineering or Surveying and two years of work experience in the field or a closely related field. Ability to read maps, use surveying equipment, perform engineering calculations, and write reports. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and AUTOCAD. Valid driver s license.
