Administrative Support

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Administrative Support person to Work in the Office of our growing facility based in South Windsor Connecticut.

The Administrative support person would be responsible for the following:

Answering telephone calls both domestic and international

Email communication 

Managing the Office and warehouse consumables

Managing and relaying all postal mail back to the UK

Managing incoming and Outgoing  parcel deliveries

Completing Filing and traceability

Preparing outgoing shipping documents

Receiving incoming shipping documents

Supplying a weekly inventory report back to the UK

Daily warehouse / production updates 

Finish goods part marking prior to shipping 

The hours for this position would be 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. 

Some knowledge of Microsoft office would be an advantage.

 Nature and Scope

  • Due to forklifts and other heavy equipment traveling through the store, temporary cracks may appear in the floor, causing an uneven walking surface

 

  • The warehouse environment can be dusty and noisy

 

  • Doors are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changes

 

  • Floors around work area may become slippery during wet weather conditions

 

  • May have to handle merchandise and work with tools with sharp edges

 

  • Passing forklifts emit gas fumes

 

  • Tools, supplies and related merchandise may contain hazardous materials

 

Physical Requirements:

Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires 
lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds)
