MASTER SCHEDULER For a screw machine production company in South Central CT. Will work under the direction of the General Manager and will be responsible for maintaining the master production schedule. Responsibilities: Plans and maintains all material and production to meet the master schedule, verifies the feasibility of schedule additions and changes within the MPS planning horizon, approves changes/additions to production schedule and coordinates work order due dates with production, analyzes forecast performance, optimizes inventory levels to meet company sales, customer delivery performance and inventory management goals, provides information to Production Management to facilitate appropriate manning and work schedules, works with Engineering for changes to existing product lines and new program introduction. Job Requirements: 4 year degree in related field, 6-8 yrs exp in computerized inventory control. Knowledge of master production scheduling, rough capacity planning and work order management. Strong PC skills in Microsoft office. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Experience or ability to master schedule which have a BOM structure of up to 5 levels deep.
