Senior Credit Analyst

 

Savings Institute Bank & Trust Company has an immediate opening for a Senior Credit Analyst in its Main Office located in Willimantic, CT.

 

Responsibilities include to objectively analyze complex credit information at a high level of expertise pertaining to diverse types of loans submitted to the Credit Administration Department for underwriting.  Prepare and occasionally present credit analysis reports to loan committee and/or Board of Directors. Act as back-up in the absence of the Credit Administration Manager. Underwrite & recommend complex credits presented to the Bank for credit analysis at a high level of expertise. Manage training of junior credit analysts

 

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, preferred.  At least two years direct work related experience in lending and/or credit analysis, or some comparable combination of education and experience. The candidate must be detail oriented, possess strong written and communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other business application programs is also required.
